DEMOCRACY OR THEOCRACY

Well, the big election controversial is over. I believe that I could truthfully say, “that I’m just as patriotic as the average person”.

I thank God for America and, while I have been in over 40 different countries, America is one of the greatest countries in the world to live. But God’s government isn’t a democracy, but a monarchy. The monarchy which He will set up someday will be a theocracy ruled by God. “Thy kingdom come”, and believe me it’s coming.

One of the reasons we have democracy is because we don’t have righteous rule monarchy. We need some kind of checks and balances, which is why our government is established as it is regardless of who wins the election.

When the thirteen colonies were still part of England, Professor Alexander Tyler wrote about the fall of the Athenian Republic over a thousand years ago. He said, “ A democracy cannot exist as a permanent form of government. It can only exist until the voters discover that they can vote themselves money from the public treasure. From that moment on the majority always votes for the candidates promising the most money from the public treasury, with the results that a democracy always collapses over loose fiscal policy followed by a dictatorship. The average age of the world’s great civilizations has been two hundred years. The nations have progressed through the following sequence,. From bondage to spiritual faith, from spiritual faith to great courage, from courage to liberty, from liberty to abundance, from abundance to selfishness, from selfishness to complacency, from complacency to apathy, from apathy to dependency, from dependency back to bondage.”

Where are we now? We have a deteriorating form of government, no matter what party is elected or who is president, According to the prophetic word of Daniel things will continue to deteriorate until Christ rules. The Bible plainly tells us that as we near the end of this age, things will not get better but wax worse and worse. 2 Tim. 3:13. For nation will rise against nation, Matt 24:7. And as we near the end of this age the conflicts in the world will intensify, with nations and people rising against governments. Authority will try and quell the voice of the people. But the old prophetic book (The Bible) plainly show us what is coming to pass. And then, Isa 9:7 will be fulfilled, “ Of the increase of his government and peace there will be no end. He will reign on David's throne and over his kingdom, establishing and upholding it with justice and righteousness from that time on and forever. The zeal of the LORD Almighty will accomplish this.”
